Death of a Salesman is rightly regarded as one of the greatest modern plays and perhaps the most complete contemporary tragedy. Willy Loman‘s personal f laws and „hubris“ mirror those of America and the play has never more relevant than now, as we enter a period of American dominance in many forms of life. Like all great plays Death of a Salesman contemplates the private and the public world, analysing society and the family, capitalism and personal morality. The production will aim to reveal the full richness of the text, and explore the public and private tragedy of the doomed salesman.
